Tech-Gurunomics sells a small number of Featured slots on the tools index. They are paid placements with a badge — not editorial rankings, not “best of,” and not a substitute for reading the honest tool page (when one exists). If we cannot say something true about a product, we will not list it.

One Featured slot on the tools index for thirty days. No live Stripe checkout on this site — apply by email; we invoice or arrange payment after a fit check.

What you get

• A card in the Featured this week strip at the top of /tools/.
• A distinct Featured badge. Sponsored is reserved for other paid-context marks — different look on purpose.
• Your name, one-line blurb, and link (site or docs URL you control).
• Optional short note that you paid for placement — we keep the disclosure visible.

You do not get: control of editorial copy on existing tool pages, removal of failure-mode notes, fake stars, or “#1” language.

Rules

• Fit. Local LLMs, self-hosting, Dev AI, or adjacent tooling. Crypto pumps, malware, and “make money with AI” spam are an automatic no.
• Honesty. Claims in the blurb must be checkable. We may edit for length and clarity; we will not invent praise.
• Labeling. Featured / Sponsored badges stay on. Undisclosed placement is not for sale.
• Limited inventory. We keep the strip short on purpose. Empty weeks show “No featured tools this week” plus a CTA here — that is intentional.
• Refusal. We can decline or cancel a slot that misrepresents the product or harms readers. Unused time is not automatically refunded if the listing was pulled for rule breaks — ask if you need terms in writing before paying.
