Account & data deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for each app published by Tech-Gurunomics (CRIBINC, LLC). You do not need to reinstall an app to make a request here.

Bible-StudyGuide: delete inside the app

Sign in to the iOS app, tap Account at the foot of your shelf, then tap Delete Account and confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple ID settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or, for a subscription started on the web, at app.cribinc.com.

Or request deletion by email

Email admin@tech-gurunomics.com (or support@cribinc.com) with the subject "Delete my account and data". Tell us which app, and send it from the email address on your account (or include that address). Use this if you only use the Bible-StudyGuide web app, can't open the app, or want something removed that in-app deletion doesn't cover.

We confirm receipt within two business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We will email you when it's done.

Bible-StudyGuide: what is deleted

Deleted when you tap Delete Account: every volume, source, uploaded file, note and insight, your chat history with sources, your stored AI provider keys, and our record of your subscription status, all from our servers. You are then signed out.
By email on request: audio overviews you generated (not yet removed by in-app deletion), and removal of your sign-in record held by Clerk and billing record held by Stripe. We delete ours and ask them to delete theirs.
Not cancelled automatically: any subscription. Cancel it in Apple ID settings or at app.cribinc.com.
Kept: payment and tax records we are legally required to keep; ordinary server logs expire on their normal schedule.
You can also delete individual sources, notes and insights yourself at any time inside the app.

Lectern Bible

Lectern has no accounts and sends us no data, so there is nothing for us to delete. Your notes and settings live only on your iPad. To remove them, delete the app (and remove it from any device backups). App Store purchase records are held by Apple.

Mise Books (in testing)

If you are a tester and want any data associated with you removed, email us as above. Full deletion instructions will be published here before Mise Books is released.

Store Compliance Pages customers

Email us to delete your customer record and take down your hosted pages. Payment and tax records are kept as the law requires.
